A storm is brewing.
And that it is. With temperatures set to plummet this week, Storm Emma is expected to bring figures down -10 degrees to some parts of Ireland as it travels here from Siberia.
Many are calling the storm the "Beast From The East" and since spine chilling temperatures are to be expected - it is vitally important that you take good care of your animals this week.
After Cara Rescue Dogs reported on a dog that died yesterday, Monday February 26, the ISPACA are urging owners to take precautions. The reported dog froze to death out the back of its owners home, even though it had a little house out the back, the temperatures were too low for the dog to survive the cold.
And now, to make sure this does not occur again as people "batten down the hatches" and prepare for the weather to get EVEN colder, the ISPCA has shared some advice to make sure to make sure your pets stay safe during the storm.
