Balancing family life and work is a challenge for any parent, but when you’re Jamie Dornan, it can be a huge struggle to find the time.
While most of us assume big celebrities like him have people there to help out with child care or have enough money to fly your children out to set when you want, it’s never that easy.
The Fifty Shades of Grey actor has spoken out about balancing his life with work, explaining how he can often feel like he’s “stretching” himself.
Speaking to PEOPLE alongside his Heart Of Stone co-star Gal Gadot, the two shared their own parenting methods and it seems we’re all a lot more like the stars than we would have thought.
Gal explained how she “struggles and juggles” her career and being a mum but ensures she never misses out on the big moments in her kids’ lives.
Jamie then said: “You don’t you ever want to apologise for working, you know, you want your kids to see that work is important and we have this life because of the work that I do, my wife does.
“It’s a good way of saying [Gal] that you stretch yourself while you’re there as much as you can. And that you’ve got to remember when we’re off, we’re like off, you know, I’m doing every school run.”
Jamie shares three girls, Dulcie, Elva, and Alberta, with his wife and music composer Amelia Warner.
