Huge congratulations are in order for Jamie Heaslip and his wife Sheena.
The couple has welcomed their second child together, just in time for Christmas.
Jamie confirmed his wife Sheena gave birth to a gorgeous baby girl on December 16th.
The couple decided to call their daughter Evie Billie.
The charming name has such an adorable meaning.
Evie is a girl’s name of Hebrew origin meaning “life”. The name Billie has a super sweet meaning behind it. The moniker is of English origin and means “resolute protection”.
Jamie posted a photo of their newborn daughter at the maternity hospital to confirm her arrival.

He simply captioned the image with her name and date of birth.
The dad-of-two wrote, “Evie Billie Heaslip. 16/12/21″
He also shared a snap of him holding baby Evie by a Christmas tree in the hospital.
“Little bundle of love in time for Christmas,” he wrote.
The rugby player and wife Sheena became parents for the first time in 2018.
Their daughter Harper was born at Holles Street in July of 2018.
“Our beautiful daughter Harper Heaslip born today. So much thanks to the all the help from the midwife Jenny, nurses, our doctor, Dr Allen, and everyone in Holles street. And to my wife, simply speechless,” he wrote at the time.
Heaslip praised the healthcare workers who helped bring his daughter into the world.
He echoed his previous appreciation for the hospital staff this week. Jamie posted a photo of two staff members and his daughter on his Instagram story and said they were “superheroes”.
