Actress Jennifer Lawrence welcomes her first child

The Hunger Games actress has welcomed her first child.

Jennifer Lawrence is officially a mum. The Hunger Games star has given birth to her first child. According to TMZ, she recently gave birth in Los Angeles County. The sex and name of her child have yet to be revealed, but both mum and baby are doing well. Lawrence's loved ones hosted a baby shower for her at the end of January. The actress announced her pregnancy at the premiere of Don't Look Up last year. However, she won't be disclosing much information about her child. She explained in an interview with Vanity Fair that she wants to protect their privacy. "If I was at a dinner party, and somebody was like, ‘Oh, my God, you’re expecting a baby,’ I wouldn’t be like, ‘God, I can’t talk about that. Get away from me, you psycho!’" "But every instinct in my body wants to protect their privacy for the rest of their lives, as much as I can. She added, "I don’t want anyone to feel welcome into their existence. And I feel like that just starts with not including them in this part of my work." This is both Lawrence and her husband Cooke Maroney's first child together. The Silver Linings Playbook star married the art dealer in a beautiful ceremony in Rhode Island in October 2019. The lavish event was attended by Adele, Emma Stone, and Kris Jenner. Huge congratulations to the Oscar winner on the birth of her first child. There's no doubt she'll pick a perfect name for her newborn.
