Jenny Dixon is marking one year since she became a mum
The actress, who welcomed her twins Bella and Capri in February 2023 with her husband Tom Neville, admitted she was feeling overwhelmed by her girls reaching the big milestone.
Speaking about her journey to motherhood on Instagram Jenny said it was a “steep learning curve” and shared her thoughts and prayers with those battling through infertility, a struggle she has known all too well.
In the post, she shared clips of her husband Tom bringing their daughters home, their christening, and a host of sweet family moments from feeding time to days out at the races.
The mum of two captioned her post, “Tomorrow our babies turn 1 and am feeling all kinds of emotion. Looking back on 12 months of Bella and Capri I am overwhelmed.
“A year like no other. A steep learning curve and a new appreciation for moms and dads.. in awe actually! Baby girls the world is better with you in it. We love you.”
Jenny followed up her birthday message with another supporting those currently on fertility journeys on her story.
“[I] am aware of those on journeys (fertility and other) and I think of you and I send you magic and blessings and love,” she wrote.
“Whatever your story or timing is to be, it’s beautiful. Sometimes it can be hard seeing posts by others. You got this x.”
Jenny and Tom’s precious tots spent six weeks in hospital after their birth on February 20th last year.
On top of this, the soap star had a tough pregnancy as the twins were in one amniotic sac, meaning she had to get scans weekly and then daily towards the end of her pregnancy.
