Kanye West has banned daughter North from wearing make up and crop tops

TV personality Kim Kardashian West recently admitted that her husband Kanye does not want his daughter North to wear make up or crop tops. Kim has also said that these new rules have caused some controversy in their household. https://www.instagram.com/p/B3PmnUzAHjY/ Kim has in the past given her six-year-old daughter a lot of freedom when it comes to the use of make up. This has caused her to face backlash including last Christmas after she posted a photo of North wearing bright red lipstick in a family photo. https://www.instagram.com/p/Br3l0Qynuwm/?utm_source=ig_embed Kim has defended her daughter's choice to wear make up by saying that she is simply playing dress up like all children do. Kanye has some very different views on the topic on how he wants his daughter to dress;

"North is trying to get in on the makeup but she's being blocked heavily because her dad has stopped all makeup for her until she is a teenager."

The rapper has recently revealed that the change of heart when it comes to North wearing make up and revealing clothing comes from his new found Christianity;

"I don't think North should wear crop tops just because I had her wearing a slip dress when she was two-years-old. I think and feel differently now, now that I'm Christian, now that I'm founder of a three billion dollar organization and married for five years."

Personally I can see both sides. On one hand if she just in her room there's no harm in her playing dress up but on the other hand children should be children. There's plenty of time for make up and crop tops when she's older.
