Kate Middleton’s Parenting Admission Is Something We Can ALL Relate To

Amanda Cassidy

Parenting young children is a difficult job – even for royalty.

During an official engagement today, the Duchess of Cambridge opened up about the challenges that come with motherhood.

On her first public outing of 2017, and just days after her 35th birthday, the mum-of-two chatted with a group of mums at the Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families in London.

The project is close to Kate’s heart – it helps parents with issues like abuse and addiction and she has been patron at the center for a number of years.

Kensington Palace issued a statement saying that

“The visit marks The Duchess’ continued desire to draw attention to child mental health issues and the importance early intervention, and working with the whole family, can make to those in vulnerable situations.”

Hello! reports that when hearing about how the organisation has helped those families with young children, she admitted: “Parenting is tough”

She went on to praise the group of mums saying;

“With the history and all the things and the experiences you’ve all witnessed, to do that on top of your own anxieties, and the lack of support you also received as mothers… I find it extraordinary how you’ve managed actually. So really well done.”

So it turns out we are not the only ones who find it all pretty flipping hard! The unflappable Duchess has tonnes of help and still has a moan every now and then.

Is it possible to like her even more?
