Another one bites the dust.
Last night, US media confirmed that Kim Kardashian has filed for divorce from her husband Kanye West. The split will be Kardashian’s third marital split, after her two previous marriages to music producer Damon Thomas and NBA player Kris Humphries also famously ended in divorce.
Rumours has been rife the past month that the Keeping Up with the Kardashian star, 40, is about to make her split with West official (the pair are said to have been living apart for some time now) and yesterday, this was confirmed when TMZ broke the news of the divorce.
According to the Associated Press reports, Kardashian West filed for divorce in Los Angeles Superior Court, and is seeking joint legal and physical custody of the couple’s four children, North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm.
Kim and Kanye have been married for seven years after tying to know in a lavish ceremony (broadcast on their reality TV show, of course) in Italy.
“Keeping Up with the Kardashians,” is set to air its final season in March this year, after 14 years and 20 seasons.
