We’re very confused.
Never mind it being a royal wedding – if it’s a wedding in any family and you’re on relatively good terms with the couple that are getting married, it’s safe to say 9 out of ten times you go.
Of course there are reasons why you can’t sometimes attend – financial or otherwise – however, one thing you don’t normally do is arrange a garden party on the same day that one of your family members is getting married.
But, of course that’s what Camilla Parker Bowles is doing.
Mmm hmm, the royal is hosting a ‘shooting party’ in her Scottish home which will begin tomorrow and carry on throughout the weekend.
According to The Telegraph: “The truth is that Camilla has a house party for a few friends,” the insider said.
“They are arriving on Friday and will be there over the weekend. The date of the wedding was known eight months ago so it’s strange Camilla organised her house party this weekend.”
It was announced at the beginning of the week that Camilla would not attend due to ‘previous commitments’ however it is now thought that there is more than meets the eye.
Many are speculating that there is a rift between Camilla and Eugenie’s mother Sarah Ferguson since Sarah and Princess Diana were particularly good friends when she was married to Prince Charles.
We’re just going to have to wait and see what the outcome is tomorrow.
