Laura Anderson is reportedly "so upset" after Gary Lucy revealed their baby's gender without her consent.
The former actor told his followers that they are expecting a baby girl, but the Love Island star never said if it was okay to share the news with the public.
Gary boasted about their baby on Instagram last night.
Alongside a photo of a 'daddy's girl' sign, he wrote: "For everyone that's been asking...
"Let's hope she inherits her mummy's looks."
The dad added, "Thanks for all the lovely messages from everyone… so excited to meet my little baby bear soon!"
A source told
OK that Laura is hurt by her former partner's actions.
They said she is really upset following Gary's unexpected announcement.
"Gary announced the gender news without getting Laura’s consent. She’s really upset by this.”
Things have been rocky between Gary and Laura for months.
Gary and Laura haven't been on great terms since they split up earlier this year.
The pair, who met on Celebs Go Dating, broke up shortly after Laura got pregnant.
Gary explained that they broke up because Laura wanted him to move to Scotland.
He previously revealed to
The Sun that he couldn't "uproot" his life.
"Laura did want me to move but I have my responsibilities here. I have four kids and all the things that go along with that so it’s very difficult, if not impossible, to uproot at this time."
He added: "Having gone through a divorce, my children need me, and living such a long way from them just would not be possible.
"I wish I could break myself in half. I would if I could."
