Heartache after beloved mum is killed in Limerick road accident

Tributes have been pouring in for young mum Shannen ‘Angelica’ O’Halloran after she died in a road accident in Limerick.

The 29-year-old sadly died in a single-vehicle accident at Kilduff, Pallasgreen on Sunday, March 12th.

Shannen has been remembered as a dear mother, as well as a talented beautician.

Many friends and family members penned emotional tributes online following her sudden death.

One said, “Limerick has lost a Beautiful Soul and a Great Mother in a Car accident late last night at Kilduff, near Pallasgreen in Co Limerick.”

Another said Shannen was “beautiful inside and out”.

One friend said Shannen was “one of a kind”.

Shannen’s partner Paul and their two children were in the car at the time of the accident.


They are being treated for injuries, but they’re non-life-threatening.

Gardaí issued a statement following the accident that claimed the mum’s life.

They shared:

“Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of a fatal single vehicle road traffic incident that occurred in the early hours of this morning, Sunday, 12th March 2023 in Kilduff, near Pallasgreen in Co.Limerick.

“The collision, involving a car, occurred at approximately 3.30 am. The driver of the vehicle, a woman aged in her 20s, received fatal injuries following the collision.

“A male passenger (30s), is currently receiving treatment for serious injuries at University Hospital Limerick. A female child and a male toddler are also receiving medical treatment but their injuries are not life-threatening.”
