Louise Cooney explained why her dog isn’t living with her anymore
Irish influencer Louise Cooney has explained why her dog Cooper is no longer living in her family home.
The mum said they had to make a difficult decision and part ways with their beloved dog.
She told her Instagram followers that Cooper is living with her friend instead.
She shared that this was an incredibly hard decision to make but the right one for her family and Cooper, too.
“He’s not living with us anymore.
“He still is and always will be a huge part of me. He’s with my friend, we got and owned him together, and we’ve shared the time with him since we moved out.”
Cooper was due to move back to Louise’s home in September, but they decided against it because it wouldn’t be right for him.
She said Cooper is getting older, so living with children would be hard for him because “he’s not used to them.”
She shared, “He’s getting older, and it had been weighing on my mind.”
The mum added, “Not fair on him and it’s not fair on Jude, so I had to make the tough decision to let him stay where he is.”
“It’s hard, and it’s sad, but I’m glad he’s happy and safe, and it’s the best option for Jude too,” she shared.
