Louise Redknapp responds to claims she's in "despair" over Jamie's new baby

"I’m having the time of my life"

Louise Redknapp said she is not in "despair" after her ex-husband Jamie and his new wife Frida welcomed a baby together.

The theatre star stressed that these claims are completely false.

In a rare statement about her personal life, the singer said: "I try not to read or respond to these things but sometimes they are unavoidable.

"I’d really love to clarify that ‘Louise’ is not in despair or anything like it!!"

"I have my two gorgeous boys that I adore more than anything in the world, the best family around me and I’m having the time of my life with my career and with the most wonderful friends that a girl could hope for," she shared.

"These stories are there to sell magazines but I’d like to make it clear that I’m in the most positive of headspaces and loving my life," the Strictly star added.

"Here’s to all the ladies out there that are in control of their lives and living their very best lives! Come on… women are better than this," she stressed.

The claims emerged shortly after her ex-husband and sports star Jamie Redknapp became a dad for the third time.

The former footballer and his new wife Frida welcomed a baby boy last month.

Their son was born on November 24th.

Jamie shared a photo of him and their baby boy on Instagram to announce his arrival.

Jamie and Frida decided to call their son Raphael Anders.

"Meet Raphael Anders Redknapp, we’re so in love, mum is doing so well too, the former footballer wrote.

"We can’t thank the amazing doctors and nurses at the Chelsea and Westminster enough," he added.

Jamie shares two sons with ex-wife Louise Redknapp- 13-year-old Beau and 17-year-old Charley.
