A man has been arrested this morning following a fatal stabbing in Clondalkin.
At 12:30am this morning, Gardaí were called to the incident in Clondalkin where a woman in her 40s was allegedly stabbed multiple times and pronounced dead on the scene.
A man in his 50s has now been arrested and is being detained at Lucan Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.
The house has been sealed off and a technical examination of the area will be carried out by Garda Crime Scene Examiners.
