Marnie Simpson and Casey Johnson welcomed their first child together this week.
The couple announced their happy news in a statement to OK! Magazine.
“Marnie gave birth to a beautiful baby boy yesterday afternoon,” a representative told the publication. “Mother and son are both doing well.”
However, a few hours later, Casey took to Instagram to say how difficult his girlfriend’s labour was.
He said: “Where do I start… after 28 hours of labour my strong amazing princess @marns delivered our gorgeous little man.
“I wanna say thank you to everybody who has messaged me it means a lot the support has been absolutely amazing. Marnie you have done so well, you grew this human inside you and boy did you do it perfect and the right way.”

The former reality star then took to Instagram Stories today to thank everyone herself.
“I wanted to come on because I’ve been very inactive for a good few days,’ the 27-year-old told her 3.5 million fans, “But as you can see, I don’t exactly want to do videos looking this rough.
“I just wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone who’s messaged, it honestly means so much to us. Obviously, it was a very traumatic experience for me and it wasn’t the easiest labour, but I’m just so thankful that everyone’s so supportive and [has] been there for us.”
She added that once she gets a bit better she will return to social media.
