There is a MASSIVE pumpkin event happening in Meath and adults go free

The entire family is going to love this spook-tastic, fun-filled pumpkin hunting day!

After a super exciting bouncy-castle event during the summer, the folks at SuperBounce Party Hire are back again, this time organising the most spectacular of Halloween themed family events.

The venue set-up at Starinagh, Co Meath

The Pumpkin & Play All Day event is taking place this weekend, Saturday 7 October plus Sunday 8 October, where kids of all ages can indulge in picking out their favourite pumpkins (there will be plenty) as well as mosey their way through all the bouncy obstacle courses provided – one is 85ft long!

Sunday will see a marathon of some of the finest pumpkins we’ve ever seen! On that day will be the magnificent Giant Pumpkin Weigh in – and it’s set to be superb.

The awesome event will be held at the Irish Military War Museum in Starinagh, Co Meath, and Suzi Caffrey, co-owner of SuperBounce Party Hire told HerFamily;

“There will be music castles, disco domes and a fully equipped playground for kids to enjoy. There will also be a big pumpkin patch, music obstacle courses and even a few ducks to see.”

Organisers have also arranged what they’ve called ‘sensory playtime’ on Saturday, between the hours of 10am and 12pm, for those little ones who would rather not find themselves in the midst of a big crowd and would prefer quieter music with a more calm and relaxing atmosphere.

Suzi also told us that parking will be well-signposted and there should be plenty of it for everyone so we needn’t worry. On hand will also be first aid, provided by St Johns Ambulance to ensure all participant’s safety.

You won’t need to book in advance, just simply bring your good selves and all the family for an epic day out. Children’s tickets cost €10 and best of all – adults can waltz right in for free. Yippee!

Although there will be some snacks provided, organisers are encouraging families and friends to bring with them their very own picnic and do it old-school style. And sure, why not? Isn’t it fine autumn weather altogether?
