V emosh, altogether.
If you went on a date with Prince Harry, there’s probably a couple of things you would do.
One of those things is not mention the time he got absolutely hammered and stripped in Vegas. And the other is not get absolutely hammered and do the exact same thing yourself.
We can only go ahead and presume that Meghan Markle did both of those exact things when she was on her first date with Harry too – hence the reason why they are now happily married.
But Meghan also did something else on her first date with Harry that’s fairly lovely if not slightly a bit intense, but sure look, if you’re dating Prince Harry you’re going to be hopeful it’s going to go somewhere at least.
On her first date, she decided to keep a part of the outfit she was wearing so she could have it sewn into her wedding dress.
And yeah OK, it’s probably plausible that Meghan didn’t decide this while she was physically on the date with Harry, and rather fished the outfit out a while later so she’d have something blue to stick in her wedding dress, but whatever, it’s grand.
Meghan revealed this detail of her dress in the new documentary, Queen of the World, when inspecting her wedding gown some time before the big day.
When looking at the dress, she says:
“Somewhere in here, there’s a piece of… did you see it? The piece of blue fabric that’s stitched inside. It was my something blue.
“It’s fabric from the dress that I wore on our first date. It’s nice to see it again. It’s beautiful.”
Do we know exactly what blue dress Meghan was wearing on her first date with Prince Harry? No, we do not. And can we actually see any mention of this blue fabric in the wedding dress itself? No, absolutely not.
But we can trust that it’s there and that’s enough, tbh.
