The newest royal couple are receiving love and support from Meghan’s former co-workers.

Meghan Markle will be saying goodbye to her character Rachel Zane in the hit TV show Suits at the end of season seven.

Yes, the news was confirmed last month, however, that hasn’t stopped Meghan’s Suits co-stars from sharing their congratulations with the future royal on Twitter.

First up was Meghan’s partner in crime, Patrick J Adams, who plays Mike Ross on the show – Rachel’s husband-to-be.

He shared his delight at the news of Meghan’s engagement on Twitter earlier today, saying:

“Meghan, so happy for you, friend.”

Next up was Meghan’s on-screen father, Wendell Pierce, who shared his congrats with a sweet post that read:

“Harry, you have her TV Father’s blessing.”

And the congrats kept coming from Gabriel Macht and Sarah Rafferty, who play the loveable duo, Harvey and Donna on the show.

It’s been a whirlwind day for the newest royal couple, who gave their first interview as an engaged couple earlier this evening.

The pair spoke about the inevitable changes to Meghan’s life, her introduction to the royal family, and how quickly the royal corgis adapted to her.

Harry also said that he felt that “the star aligned” when he met Meghan just over a year and a half ago.

It really is a real-life fairytale.
