Meghan Markle's former Suits co-star - and her on-screen dad - has some strong words for her father, Thomas.

The 37-year-old's relationship with her father is thought to have become strained after a number of controversies in the lead up to her wedding to Prince Harry on May 19. The retired lighting director has since developed a fondness for speaking to the media about his daughter and her husband, including claiming that the royal family were "cult-like" and that the Duchess of Sussex looked "terrified" in her new life. It's gotten so bad that Meghan is said to be "living in fear" he will leak their conversations if they do talk. And now the former actress' on-screen father, Wendell Pierce, has had his say in the drama - and offered some advice about the situation. During an interview with The Telegraph, he was asked about his experiences with his former co-star - as well as some strong words for Thomas Markle. He said: Meghan left the show alongside her on-screen husband, played by Patrick J. Adams, at the end of season 8 - but had not publicly announced the decision by the time filming wrapped.
