In Dublin, it is set to rain later on today. It will become windy overnight and some persistent rain will develop, with a few heavy bursts by dawn. Lowest temperatures five or six degree Celsius. Tomorrow, it will be breezy and cloudy, with further patches of light rain and drizzle at times. Top temperatures are predicted at seven or eight degree Celsius. Fresh and gusty southeasterly winds will give a colder feeling. Indeed, due to these southeasterly winds, a second weather warning has been put in place for the aforementioned counties and additionally, Wexford. The four counties are going to experience strong winds between the hours of 4 pm this evening and 2 pm tomorrow.Status yellow #Rainfallwarning issued for counties #Cork, #Kerry and #Waterford,

"Southeasterly winds will reach mean speeds between 50 and 65km/h at times, with gusts between 90 and 100 km/h. Winds will be strongest along coastal areas".This unsettled weather looks set to persist for most of the country at the weekend, so we'd suggest you cosy up on the couch, with a good film or maybe do a few DIY Christmas crafts with the kids. While we love the winter sweater weather, we could do without the rain. Fingers crossed for dry weather next week. To keep track of any changes, keep an eye out on the full forecast here.
