Met Éireann say that temperatures are going to climb this week

Olivia Hayes

All the sun, please!

If you’re wondering when the weather is ever going to get a little bit warmer then you’re going to be in luck this week.

Met Éireann has predicted that we’re going to see temperatures rise to 16 degrees, which will be marginally hotter than Rome, which will come in at 14 degrees.

Listen, we’ll take it.

The weather forecaster said while today and tomorrow will go up to about 14 degrees, we’ll see the most sun on Wednesday and Thursday.

“Wednesday will be dry and fairly sunny. Highest temperatures of 10 to 15 degrees, with highest values in the southeast, in light westerly breezes. Wednesday night will be cold again with lowest temperatures between -1 and +5 degrees. A slight frost is likely in Leinster and Munster.

“Thursday is looking largely dry and sunny as well with highest temperatures of 12 to 16 degrees. It will be a bit breezier with moderate southwest winds. On Thursday night some rain may reach northwest coasts later but elsewhere it will stay dry.”
