"Sunny spells will gradually break through across the northern half of the country by early afternoon, with brighter skies reaching remaining areas later in the day. Highest temperatures will range 14 to 20 degrees (north to south), in light north to northeast breezes." Tonight, Met Éireann is predicting clear spells, however temperatures will take a major drop. "Dry but rather cold tonight with clear spells. Mist and fog setting in later, especially across inland areas. Lowest temperatures will range 3 to 8 degrees in near calm."Some rain, drizzle and mist across the southern half of the country to begin, becoming confined to southern counties later this morning.
