Met Éireann has predicted a day of VERY mixed weather

Here we go again!

Over the past few months, we seem to be in a vicious cycle of warm weather and rain. One minute it’s lashing out, and the next, the sun is beating down on our heads.

That’s not going to stop anytime soon as Met Éireann has predicted a day of rain, mist and fog – however, it will also reach up to 20 degrees.

The weather forecaster said: “Monday will begin cloudy, with rain, drizzle and mist across the southern half of the country, becoming confined to southern counties.

“Sunny spells will gradually break through across the northern half of the country by early afternoon, with brighter skies reaching remaining areas later in the day. Highest temperatures will range 14 to 20 degrees (north to south), in light north to northeast breezes.”

Tonight, Met Éireann is predicting clear spells, however temperatures will take a major drop.

“Dry but rather cold tonight with clear spells. Mist and fog setting in later, especially across inland areas. Lowest temperatures will range 3 to 8 degrees in near calm.”
