Heading out tonight?

Whether you have little ones to bring out trick or treating or you’re heading out yourself, you better put on a few layers because it’s going to be pretty cold out.

And with rain and drizzle threatening to drop at any second, you also might want to bring a brolly.

For today, Met Éireann says: “This morning will be dry in the east and south with some sunny breaks. Showery rain in the west and north will spread slowly eastwards today.

“Brightening up in the west later. Rain or drizzle will affect the east and southeast this afternoon and evening. Highest temperatures of 7 to 10 degrees with moderate southerly breezes.”

While tonight, we’ll see: “Rain and drizzle in the east will clear early tonight. Most places will be dry with clear spells. There’ll be some showers along the west coast. It will be cold with lowest temperatures of -2 to +3 degrees, coldest in the midlands and east with a sharp frost and some icy patches. Some fog patches will develop also.”
