Minster Helen McEntee has given birth to her second child

Helen McEntee is officially a mum-of-two.

Huge congratulations are in order for Minister for Justice Helen McEntee who has welcomed her second child.

She gave birth to a baby boy this morning.

Minister McEntee gave birth at The Rotunda Hospital in Dublin.

Helen has not yet confirmed the name of her second child.

A representative for the mum confirmed the news to the Irish Examiner.

They stated;

“Mam and baby are doing well, and the Minister and her husband Paul are delighted with the new arrival.”

This is Helen’s second child.

The now mum-of-two recently celebrated her baby shower with her nearest and dearest. Her loved ones hosted a baby shower for the minister in November.

Helen welcomed her first child, also a baby boy, in April 2021.

She revealed she was pregnant with her second child in June.

Helen confirmed the news by posting a photo of her eldest son Michael.

In the adorable photo, her little boy is wearing a t-shirt that says, ‘I’m gonna be a big brother’.

She captioned the image, “So Michael has some news to share.”

Helen McEntee is the first female minister to welcome a baby while serving in Cabinet.
