The store has recalled one of its popular baby bouncers.
Mothercare is recalling one of their baby bouncers after fears for safety were raised when it was found the fabric on the seat could become detached from the frame.
A statement on their website reads:
“Only bouncers with a batch date of 12/2015 onwards and with a barcode ending in 843611-3 are affected by this recall.
“If you own one of these bouncers please stop using it immediately and return the product to a Mothercare store where a full refund will be given.
“This action has been taken to ensure the safety and well-being of our customers and we apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.”
The recall comes after a ten-week-old baby boy was rushed to hospital after he fell through the bouncer and hit his head on the floor.
The boy was left with a dent in his head that doctors say will last a couple of years.
