Mummy-shamers tell Chrissy Teigen to ‘cover up’ infront of her daughter

Melissa Carton

Chrissy just can’t seem to catch a break.

As a mum, sometimes it feels like you can never get it right. Damned if you do and damned if you don’t.

Chrissy Teigen knows all about this. Recently, she was slammed for thanking the people who work for her and now she’s being shamed for showing cleavage in front of her daughter.

Internet trolls posted messages telling Teigen to ‘cover up’ after she shared a photo of herself and her daughter in which she is wearing just a blazer.

My first reaction was pretty much what Chrissy ended up replying with. Breastfed babies know what breasts look like.

Also, there is absolutely no shame in a young child seeing their mother’s body. They did once live inside of her after all.

Luckily, Chrissy is a resilient woman who has clapped back at her critics time and time again but still she shouldn’t have to.

A lot of the things she has been shamed for are the same things a lot of others mums are shamed for too and it’s just wrong.

It’s hard enough to try and do it all as a parent, the last thing we need are other people constantly bringing us down.

I’m glad Chrissy stood up for herself but I’m tired of the fact that she has to. We all need to be more supportive of each other and support mums because it really does make a difference, when all is said and done.
