With the news of Brian Dowling and husband Arthur Gourounlian expecting their first child together this year, there has been a lot of talk about what name they will choose.
According to bookmakers Ladbrokes, there has been a growing interest in bets on a potential name for the couple’s future son or daughter and these have been the top bets.
After Brian’s late mother, Rosie is the current favourite at 8/1 if the new arrival is to be a baby girl.
Maria is coming in at a close second at 10/1 after Arthur’s mother.
Some punters even fancy the baby to be named after one of the new-to-be dads, with Arthur Junior at 14/1 and Brian Junior at 16/1.
Some think Arthur’s latest stint on the judging panel of Dancing with The Stars will influence the couple’s decision in baby name choosing, with show presenters Jennifer coming in at 14/1 and Nicky at 25/1.
While others think they may even call the new addition Glitter after the show’s Glitter Ball Trophy, currently an outsider at 100/1.
Others believe Big Brother will play a part in the process of selecting the baby’s name, which is of course where Brian rose to fame all the way back in 2001.
Some feel Davina might get the nod after the original Big Brother presenter Davina McCall, but it doesn’t seem the most promising choice with odds at 66/1 for Davina.
On the other hand, others think Boyzone member and previous Celebrity Big Brother housemate Keith Duffy could be in the running, with odds at 50/1 for Keith.

“Only time will tell if Glitter could be dancing its way as the name of choice for Brian and Arthur’s new arrival, although Brian may not be so keen on that one! Congratulations and best wishes to the couple on this exciting news.”
