This new Instagram fitness craze involves our favourite furry friends

Dogs are just the best.

As fitness fanatics (meaning we talk about fitness a lot but rarely partake) one thing we're  always trying to improve on is our squat situation. We're the first to admit that after a while the classic squat can get a  little tedious, and sometimes... well, we just fall over. Have no fear, there's a new fitness craze sweeping Instagram which is proving popular amongst the animal kingdom as well as those longing for a toned behind. #SquatYourDog is a hashtag which sees dog owners pick up their beloved pooches and burn the calories while squatting  (no matter the size of the pup involved). We're not sure how effective this is in terms of fitness but it's certainly DAMN cute, and the puppies look like they're getting a welcome break from the daily slog:

Excuse my shocking form, this was like my fifth attempt to get this without Layla the twat knocking us all over ? Logan is also over 26kg of dead weight ? Trying to workout at home with these two halping is a task in itself so I'm loving any exercises that include your dogs! If you can stop laughing enough to exercise... #squatyourdogchallenge
