“I have no doubt Amy is dead”

The family of Amy Fitzpatrick believes she is buried at an abandoned stable in Spain.

The location is reportedly 15 minutes away from where she disappeared in 2008.

According to the Irish Mirror, an anonymous source told her family that there were human remains at the abandoned racetrack near the Costa del Sol resort of La Cala de Mijas.

Amy’s aunt Christine told the publication that they hope police start a search.

The family believes the missing person case should become a murder investigation.

“I have no doubt Amy is dead and I believe she is buried up there on that racetrack somewhere. We were told Stable Number 5 so hopefully, they will start searching and see if her remains are there,” she said.

Her father Chris said he just wants to bring his daughter back to Ireland.

“All I want is to find Amy’s body and bring my little girl home. This is going on far too long and Amy deserves better.”

The family has been told by people in the Spanish criminal underworld that Amy’s body will be found at the stables.

They believe the Spanish police have not done enough to find Amy.

They’re calling on them to completely review her case.

Amy’s aunt stressed, “We want every new lead followed up and everyone originally involved in the case to be interviewed.

“We last heard from the Spanish police via our Garda liaison officer a few weeks ago and they said the case was still open.

“We would also like to see a massive search up at that racetrack and through all those stables because we genuinely believe that is where her body is.

“Both Chis, Ashley, and I are all convinced Amy is dead. Trust me if she was alive she would have called one of us.”

Amy disappeared on New Year’s Day in 2008.

She was only 15-years-old when she disappeared.
