A nine-year-old who disappeared in 2016 has been found following a high-profile national TV appeal.
The Texas child, Mariah Martinez, was finally located in New Mexico.
She was reported missing on October 21, 2016 and was found on Monday, according to police in Lubbock, Texas.
A segment about Mariah aired during a recent episode of the A&E reality series LivePD. A viewer with information contacted the authorities a week ago and that information led to Mariah’s discovery.
There are no more details about where exactly the little girl was found or if she was in good health. No one has been charged.
PEOPLE reports: “Authorities have said Mariah and her two siblings – Jeremiah, who was 5 at the time, and Leimiah, who was just 2 – vanished in 2016 with their mother, Amanda Martinez, soon after a court order was issued removing the three siblings from her custody.”
Amanda, Jeremiah, and Leimiah were eventually found – but Mariah was not and her mother did no cooperate with the authorities looking for her.

Social services in Texas started investigating the children’s parents after Jeremiah allegedly told his teacher his mother’s boyfriend abused him physically and threatened to kill the entire family by driving them into a pond and drowning them.
