May 8 can’t come fast enough.
Last week I wrote about how the release for season two of Dead To Me had been announced, but at that point the full official trailer hadn’t dropped yet.
Well you’re in for some good news this Monday because the trailer has now been released and it looks every bit as exciting as season one.
If you haven’t seen the first season of Dead To Me in it we see Jen attend a group grief counselling session after her husband is killed in a hit and run.
While there Jen meets Judy and the pair soon become best friends, brought together by their experiences of grief, or so it would seem.
Judy even moves in with Jen before a huge secret tears the friendship apart (I won’t write any spoilers just in case you’ve yet to watch the first season).
Season one ended on a huge cliffhanger, with Judy’s ex-boyfriend ending up dead in Jen’s pool so naturally we all want to know what is in store for Jen and Judy as they know have even more secrets and scandals to hide.
From what we can see in the trailer there doesn’t seem to be any end in sight for the secrets the girls have to hide.
In fact picking up in the aftermath of that bloody backyard reveal, Jen (Christina Applegate) and Judy (Linda Cardellini) struggle to hide a dark secret. With a surprising new visitor in town and Detective Perez hot on their heels, the stakes have never been higher.
I was absolutely addicted to the first season of Dead To Me and binge watched it in a couple of days so I’m counting down the days until the next season arrives on Netflix.
Until then I might just have to make do with re-watching season one.
