Congratulations to the pair!
Record-breaking Olympic athlete Michael Phelps and his wife Nicole Johnson have welcomed their second child together.
Taking to Instagram to share the news, Michael shared a picture of his wife and their two sons, saying:
“Nicole and I would like to introduce Beckett Richard Phelps to the world. We had a healthy baby boy and a healthy mamma.
“I truly do feel like the happiest man in the world. Being able to build our family to now four (six with doggies) is so incredible.”
Mum-of-two Nicole also shared the news on Instagram with another image from her hospital bed, saying:
“Our family grew by one yesterday. Meet Beckett Richard Phelps.
"I’m surrounded by boys and I couldn’t be happier.”
Even new big brother Boomer got in on the Instagram action sharing his own update with his 786,000 followers, saying:
“I am officially a big bro! All I wanna do is hold him.
"I can’t wait till I get to teach him so many cool things about the world.”
The couple
announced that they were expecting their second child back in August 2017, simply telling fans “number two is on the way”.
Michael and Nicole first began dating back in 2007 after meeting at the ESPY Awards. The pair were married on June 2016 just a month after welcoming their first child, Boomer.
