This is genius!
While you’re probably not using your paddling pool much at the moment with the constant warnings about water usage, they can be a bugger to keep clean if you’re leaving them outside (empty, of course) during the summer.
Leaves, bugs, dust – the lot – those inflatable pools can be the ultimate dirt-gatherer.
However, one mum has thought of the ultimate hack to keep them clean and we can’t believe we didn’t think of it sooner.
Mum-of-eight Deborah Hitchens shared a trick on the Family Days Tried and Tested Facebook group after fellow mum Sarah Jane Bennett passed on the tip.
“Use a fitted sheet to cover your pool when not in use to keep if free of leaves and bugs,” she wrote.
In less than a week, the post has already been shared over 11,000 times, with over 4,500 interactions.
However, some parents were already after catching onto this one, feeling proud for coming up with the idea themselves.
“Been doing this all summer and thought I was being waaay imaginative until I saw this post,” wrote one parent.
Well, if you didn’t know before, now you do.
