Bella-Rae died after a harrowing dog attack.
The family of a 17-month-old girl who was killed by a dog has paid tribute to her.
Bella-Rae Birch tragically died when she was attacked by a dog on March 21st. The harrowing incident took place at a house in Liverpool.
Her family has spoken publicly about their beautiful little girl.
They thanked the public for the waves of support since news of her passing emerged on Monday.
They said, “As a family, we would like to thank the community for their support.
“We would ask that we are now allowed some space and time to try and come to terms with the tragic loss of our much-loved Bella-Rae.

“She will be sadly missed but never forgotten,” they added.
DCC Ian Critchley added, “Our thoughts are very much with this little girl, a life tragically lost.”
The attack took place on Monday afternoon.
Neighbours revealed they heard screaming coming from the house and said her parents were “hysterical”.
They attempted to save the little girl, but she sadly passed away.
Bella-Rae was taken to hospital but she was pronounced dead a short time later.
It is believed the dog was only with the family for the past week.
Superintendent Steve Brizell stated: “Bella-Rae has lost her life in the most unimaginably terrible circumstances.
“Our thoughts are first and foremost with the family and the wider community at this devastating time.”
Officers confirmed the dog has been put down because of the young girl’s death.
