Well, this is a depressing ‘breakthrough’…
Meteorologist, Lauren Jones, who has been steadily gaining weight as is to be expected for a woman who is growing a new human inside her, this week celebrated her first week free from body-shaming since her pregnancy began. The mum-to-be is 31 weeks pregnant and still getting dressed in the morning, going to work and basically functioning like a normal human woman. So of course like any normal human woman, she has been targeted by strangers on the internet who are unhappy about everything from her weight gain to her clothing choices.
As a joke her co-anchor, John Boel decided to ‘celebrate’ last week when seven whole days went by without a negative comment from their viewers.
