Prince William knocked Harry to the ground during row over Meghan

Prince Harry and his brother were arguing about Meghan Markle.

Prince Harry has written about a fight he had with his older brother Prince William in his memoir Spare.

The book, which is set for release on January 10th, sees Harry open up about his family and life as a royal.

In a new snippet, the dad-of-two reveals his brother Prince William ‘knocked’ him to the ground during an argument about Harry’s wife Meghan Markle.

Harry has claimed that William physically hurt him during the conversation.

The brothers were discussing Harry and Meghan Markle’s marriage.

Harry revealed that Prince William visited his brother at his London home in 2019 before the altercation took place.

The snippet from Spare was leaked to The Guardian.

During the argument, Prince William called Meghan “difficult, rude, and abrasive”.

Harry writes;

“He set down the water, called me another name, then came at me. It all happened so fast. So very fast. He grabbed me by the collar, ripping my necklace, and he knocked me to the floor. I landed on the dog’s bowl, which cracked under my back, the pieces cutting into me. I lay there for a moment, dazed, then got to my feet and told him to get out.”

Prince William reportedly told his brother to fight back, but Harry refused to do so.

The dad-of-two said William left his home, but returned later that evening “looking regretful and apologised”.

Sources claim the brothers won’t be able to heal their relationship after Spare is released, but Prince Harry has stressed that he does want to mend things with both William and their father, King Charles.

Spare will be published on January 10th.
