If we ever doubted that Prince Harry was a very sound guy, that’s well and truly been put to bed.

While on walkabout in Auckland in New Zealand this week, Harry proved that he’s a bit of a legend by stopping to comfort a young boy who had recently lost his mum.

Six-year-old Otia Nante and his grandmother Te had turned out along with thousands of others to greet Harry and wife Meghan Markle.

Upon hearing that Otia was recently bereaved, the prince spent a couple of minutes chatting to the youngster.

“Everything will be okay – look at me,” he reportedly told him.

“Harry just said ‘everything will be fine, you will grow up to be strong and positive’,” an onlooker added.

Harry also spoke to Te, who now looks after her grandson.

“You’re doing a great job, Nan,” he told her. “Nans are so important in our lives.”

The moment will no doubt have resonated with Harry, who lost his mum Princess Diana at the age of 12.

His grandmother Queen Elizabeth took it upon herself to protect her grandsons after Diana’s death, keeping Harry and William at her residence in Balmoral, Scotland so they could grieve privately.

Other members of the public also overheard Harry telling Otia how happy he is now and referencing his wife Meghan.
