It looks like Prince Harry and Prince William are trying to repair their relationship.
The brothers’ relationship has been on thin ice since Harry stepped down as a senior working royal.
Things became even rockier after his interview with Oprah.
However, despite their differences, the dads want their children to have a special bond.
So much so that Prince Harry is eager to return to the United Kingdom.
His son Archie and daughter Lilibet have yet to spend any time with their cousins- Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.
The dad-of-two is desperate for them to spend some quality time together. But returning to England is not a safe option for his family.
He believes they need police security if they are to visit, but The Palace has failed to acknowledge this request.
“Harry has his heart set on returning to the UK to see the Queen with Meghan, Archie, and Lilibet, but that will only happen if the government takes the appropriate measures to protect his family.
A source told US Weekly that the safety of Meghan, Archie, and Lilibet must come first.
Harry said if the Government cannot “replicate the necessary police protection needed whilst in the UK” then he cannot return.
“In absence of such protection, Prince Harry and his family are unable to return home.”
The statement stressed that it isn’t safe for the family to return without police protection.
“Prince Harry inherited a security risk at birth, for life.
“His family has been subjected to well-documented neo-Nazi and extremist threats.
“While his role within the Institution has changed, his profile as a member of the royal family has not.
“Nor has the threat to him and his family.”
The source added, “Harry and Meghan are doing everything they can to make the world a better place. They feel it would be wrong to rob their children of the opportunity of getting to know their cousins.”
“It’s obviously difficult because of the distance factor, so Harry sweetly organized a special Zoom call with Prince William so that the cousins could get to see each other.”
