The royals politely declined the Beckham’s invitation.

It may have been the wedding of the year, but Prince William and Kate turned down an invite to Brooklyn Beckham’s wedding.

The royal couple was one of many high-profile names invited to the lavish event. However, they didn’t make the trip across to America for Brooklyn’s special day.

The royals politely declined the invite but made sure to send a kind note to the newlyweds.

It is believed David and Victoria Beckham invited the royal couple to their son’s wedding.

However, Prince William and Kate were unable to attend.

A source told The Daily Mirror, “David and Victoria wrote to William and Kate inviting them and the family to their son’s wedding.

“William replied wishing them a great deal of joy but they are unable to attend.”

David and Victoria have attended numerous royal weddings in the past.

They were also guests at Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s 2018 wedding.

However, sources claim the Beckhams never invited Harry and Meghan.

Despite reports, the couple was not on the prestigious guest list.

A source said, “David’s attachment and history go back with William and Kate.

“They have a very strong relationship and they were their choice of wedding guest.”

The source added, “It was always about them, it was never about Meghan and Harry.”

The royals may not have attended the wedding, but it wasn’t short of celebrity guests.

Eva Longoria, Serena Williams, and Gordon Ramsey attended, as well as Victoria’s bandmates.

Brooklyn and Nicola’s special day supposedly cost an astonishing £3.5 million. The bride wore a breathtaking custom Valentino dress and the groom wore a Dior suit.

The lovebirds tied the knot at Nicola’s family home in Palm Beach on Saturday, April 9th.
