The Cambridges skipped Lilibet’s birthday party.

Prince Harry and Meghan’s daughter Lilibet is celebrating her 1st birthday this weekend, but some members skipped her birthday celebrations.

According to reports, Prince William and Kate did not attend the festivities.

However, the couple has a valid reason for missing her birthday.

The Cambridges couldn’t attend because of a royal engagement in Wales.

Lilibet’s quiet birthday party took place on Saturday, June 4th.

Members of the royal family joined Harry and Meghan for their little girl’s special day.

The party took place at Harry and Meghan’s English home Frogmore Cottage.

Queen Elizabeth II attended the special occasion. The monarch will meet her great-granddaughter for the first time this month.

Prince Harry, Meghan, and their two children, Archie and Lilibet, will visit the royals for the first time this weekend.

The family has been unable to travel to England due to safety concerns, as well as travel restrictions in place during the pandemic.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visited Wales to mark the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.

It is understood that the royals met with performers and crew involved in a concert at Cardiff Castle.

This will be Lilibet’s first time in the United Kingdom. It will also be her first time meeting most of Prince Harry’s family.

However, Prince Harry and Prince William have been speaking over Zoom. The family group calls have reportedly strengthened the brother’s relationship.
