Pure Foundation Fund to award €5,000 to two outstanding midwives and nurses
A brilliant way to give back to our incredible nurses.
Irish brand WaterWipes, supported by the Irish Nurses & Midwives Organisation (INMO) and the Irish Neonatal Health Alliance (INHA), is proud to launch the first Pure Foundation Fund to acknowledge excellence in midwifery and nursing.
This new bursary scheme in Ireland will recognise the incredible work of midwives and those nurses involved in the pregnancy, birth and postnatal journey.
Nominations are now open for the inaugural bursary on waterwipes.com and can be made by new or expectant parents, healthcare colleagues or through self-nomination.
The fund totalling €5,000 will be awarded to two outstanding midwives and is also open to nurses specifically involved in all aspects of baby and infant care.
Each winner will receive €2,500 for their department to advance the care of parents and babies through a range of options including purchase of equipment, resources for parents, training, improve practice / care or support further research relating to pregnancy, baby care and neonatal care.
WaterWipes has created the bursary in recognition of how the COVID-19 health crisis has highlighted, more than ever, the importance of simple human connections and the tremendous dedication of healthcare heroes to providing support, compassion and care for others.
To nominate a midwife or nurse for the inaugural Pure Foundation Fund awards, simply visit WaterWipes.com and complete the relevant nomination form.
A representative from WaterWipes, INMO and INHA will examine all submissions and will select the final two winning midwives or nurses. The deadline for entries is November 30 2020.
