Fair enough!
So we all probably spent most of the weekend gawking at gorgeous snaps of the royal family.
Well at least I did anyway.
The Trooping of the Colour took place on Saturday, which marks the celebration of the Queen’s birthday.
And sure, everyone was there.
Meghan Markle made her first official appearance since she gave birth to sweet baby Archie.
Prince Harry was by her side, naturally.
The whole Cambridge squad was there, even little Prince Louis, who made his royal balcony debut.
It was epic.
However, we did notice an obvious few people missing from the celebrations.
Zara Tindall, the Queen’s granddaughter, was nowhere to be seen at the event.
Well, before anyone even suggests bad blood, the gorgeous Zara had a pretty acceptable reason for missing the party.
Zara spent the day competing in the Bramham International Horse Trials rather than taking to the balcony.
Fair enough!
Herself and her husband, Mike Tindall, are big fans of the horse trials, and no doubt Mike would have taken their daughters along for the occasion.
And in fairness, Zara Tindall tends to skip the Trooping of the Colour quite often, as she’s not technically a working member of the royal family.
However, she and Mike do attend the big important events, like family weddings and the Queen’s 90th birthday.
They try and keep the rest of their lives as low key, and as normal as possible.
Good for them!
