Riverdale star Luke Perry has passed away, following a massive stroke. Luke suffered a stroke in his home last Wednesday evening and was rushed to hospital. At the time, a rep for the actor said: “Mr. Perry is currently under observation at the hospital.” However, it has been reported by TMZ that Luke passed. Luke passed away Monday morning at St. Joseph's Hospital in Burbank. According to his rep, "Luke was surrounded by his children Jack and Sophie, fiance Wendy Madison Bauer, ex-wife Minnie Sharp, mother Ann Bennett, step-father Steve Bennett, brother Tom Perry, sister Amy Coder, and other close family and friends." The 52-year-old was known for playing Fred Andrews in The CW's Riverdale as well as portraying Dylan McKay in Beverly Hills 90210. The news comes as Fox announced the revival of Beverly Hills 90210. The mockumentary type show will star original cast members such as Jennie Garth, Ian Ziering, Jason Priestly, Brian Austin Green, Tori Spelling and Gabrielle Carteris. Our hearts are with everyone that knew Luke Perry.
