Rochelle Humes has spoken out about dealing with a very relatable parenting moment she encountered in recent days.

The Saturday’s star shares daughters Alaia-Mai and Valentina Raine as well as son Blake Hampton with her husband Marvin, 38.

On Wednesday, the singer and presenter took to social media to tell her followers that things were changing big time in the Humes household as they prepare to send off their daughter, Alaia.

The ten-year-old is heading off on her first overnight school trip, which is a moment many parents dread.

The thoughts of all the things that could possibly happen or go wrong enter our heads and make us want to keep our little ones in our care.

Taking to Instagram, Rochelle shared a snap of a suitcase alongside the caption: “Home and just finished packing Alaia’s case, she’s off on her first-ever residential school trip tomorrow morning until Friday afternoon.

“No contact, I’m not okay.”

The mum-of-three went on to say she had written notes for Alaia to open during her trip to make sure she is okay over the couple of days.

One was labelled ‘open on night one’ and the other ‘open on night two,’ which is a great way to ensure your child has some reminders from home in case they become home sick.
