Ronald McDonald House launch Barróg bunny to help raise much needed funds

Melissa Carton

How cute are they?

Due to COVID-19 Ronald McDonald House (RMHC) has had to cancel all of their fundraising events this year.

Because of this RMHC have come up with a new initiative to help raise the much needed funds that allow them to provide support to the families of sick children.

Introducing the Barróg bunny!

Isn’t he just the cutest?

“Barróg” is Irish for “Hug” so when you send someone a Barróg bunny you’re actually sending them a little hug.

Given that most of us are currently separating from family and friends at the moment, sending a hug is more important than ever.

Not only that but you’ll also be helping to support a fantastic children’s charity.

The Barróg bunny costs €10 and all proceeds from the purchase of Barróg go directly to supporting the families of sick children staying at The Ronald McDonald House.

Additionally you can pay an extra €3 to make it into a special gift package with a personalized card and gift bag.

The Barróg bunny complies with EN71 standards and is machine washable which is a big plus as a parent.
