Ruby Franke has officially been charged with six counts of aggravated child abuse.

Two of Ruby Franke’s six children were found abused and malnourished after one of them escaped and alerted their neighbours about the abuse.

The 41-year-old from Utah had millions of subscribers on her YouTube channel where she shared her life as a mum, as well as parenting advice.

Ruby Franke was arrested last week after her 12-year-old son climbed out of a window and sought help from their neighbour.

According to ABC, Santa Clara-Ivins Public Safety Department confirmed she has been charged.

Jodi Hildebrandt was also arrested and charged with aggravated child abuse. She is Franke’s business partner and close friend.

They could both face between one and 15 years in prison.

Franke is a mum to six children, Shari, Chad, Abby, Julie, Russell, and Eve.

Her 10-year-old daughter was found in a state of malnourishment and was reportedly rushed to hospital. She was starved and emotionally abused.
