Priority customers, however, will be allowed to take two bags onboard for a fee of €6. Ryanair also noted that no bags will be checked in at the gate for free from now on.
The Irish airline has stated that these changes are to help “eliminate gate bags and cut boarding gate/flight delays”.
From tomorrow on, if a passenger arrives at the gate with two bags or a bigger bag than stated, they will be required to pay €25 to check it in.
