The Square Tallaght

Ho Ho Ho.

It is indeed beginning to look a lot like Christmas, and even more so tomorrow, when Santa himself will arrive at The Square Tallaght – and bringing with him a whole lot of famous friends and festivities.

Due to arrive at 5pm tomorrow, Saturday, Santa will switch on the centre’s Christmas lighting – and kick off tonnes of free entertainment for the entire family.

Paul Ryder and Giz a Laugh’s Enya Martin will be there, the same goes for Dancing with The Stars Karen Byrne.

And as if that wasn’t enough, there will be a giant ferris wheel, a carousel, firework displays, a DJ, and, for fans of Elsa, Anna and Olaf, a whole lot more to see and do.

Following his arrival, Santa will remain in his Grotto at The Square until Christmas Eve, and there will be tonnes of things to see and do for children upon their visit.

For instance, to get to Santa, they will have to pass through the ‘Naughty or Nice’ scanner and will also be able to fly through the night sky on a “Journey to Santa’s Kingdom” on a virtual reality sleigh ride.

Yes, really.

As well as Santa arriving back from the North Pole just in time for the festive season, this year, The Square Tallaght has also teamed up with Disney, for a truly amazing Frozen 2 themed mall.

The movie, which premiers this weekend, will no doubt attract many a young Frozen fan, and at The Square Tallaght your little darlings will be able to see luminescent Frozen 2 projections on the centre’s huge sails, snap a selfie in front of the selfie screen – complete with figures and characters from the movie.

Chistmas at The Square this year promises to be an event the entire family will enjoy, and we for one cannot wait to come check it out this weekend!
