At Home: Man found guilty of murdering his wife Anne Colomines in 2017

A jury has found Renato Gehlen guilty of murdering his wife in 2017.

He stabbed Anne Colomines in the heart after she told him she wanted to file for divorce.

Gehlen claimed his wife stabbed herself. The prosecution said his defence was “insulting” and “ridiculous”.

Gehlen will be sentenced on October 22nd.

Kerry hospital warns public of huge waiting lists

A hospital in Kerry has told GPs they can no longer accept non-urgent cases due to the extensive healthcare waiting lists.

It is believed University Hospital Kerry has 2,200 on waiting lists for surgery.

Surgeons at the hospital penned a letter to GPs in Kerry as “a cry for help”.

Dr. Gary Stack told Newstalk, “I think this is a last-minute cry for help as the ship goes under.”

Weather: Met Éireann issues rain warning for three counties

Met Éireann has issued a Yellow Rain Warning for three counties.

It is believed harsh conditions are to be expected from 9 pm on Wednesday, September 29th to 9 pm on Thursday, September 30th.

People in Mayo, Galway, and Donegal have been warned about the miserable conditions forecasted.

Blustery winds, rainfall, and thunderstorms have also been forecast.

Celebrity: Britney Spears’ father suspended from her conservatorship after 13 years

Jamie Spears has been suspended from the singer’s conservatorship after 13 years.

The hearing, which took place at Los Angeles Superior Court on Wednesday, found that her father should not remain in charge of the singer’s estate.

John Zabel has been granted temporary conservator of Britney’s $60 million estate.

Britney’s lawyer said her father was “a cruel, toxic, abusive man” during the hearing.

“Britney deserves to wake up tomorrow without her father as her conservator,” he added.

Katie Price tests positive for cocaine after car crash

Katie Price tested positive for cocaine after she was involved in a car crash on Tuesday, investigators have confirmed.

The mum has pleaded guilty to drink driving, driving while disqualified, and driving without insurance.

She confessed, “I took drugs, I should not be driving, I admit it all” during her court hearing.

Her sentencing has been postponed to December 15th. She will be treated at the Priory Centre until then.
