The Secret Life of Pets 2 trailer is here and mamas, you’ll be laughing as much as the kids will

It was one of our favourite flicks of 2016 and now, we're getting a sequel.

The trailer which was released today sees Max getting "tricked" into going to the vet by his human. The trailer is less than 2 minutes long but already packs plenty of laughs and funny one-liners as the sequel again asks the question, do we really know our pets? The first instalment grossed over $875 in the worldwide box office and we expect this flick to be no different. The movie also features a stellar lineup with Jenny Slate, Kevin Hart, Eric Stonestreet, Tiffany Haddish, Nick Kroll, Pete Holmes, Lake Bell, Albert Brooks, Dana Carvey, Ellie Kemper, and Harrison Ford voicing characters. Max, who was originally voiced by Louis C.K will now be voiced by Patton Oswalt with Chris Renaud returning to the director's chair.
